Join Miami Waterkeeper, Surfrider Foundation Miami Chapter, the University of Miami Abess Center, and Debris Free Oceans for a community screening of the award-winning documentary The Cigarette Surfboard. Experience the ocean through the eyes of surfers as this immersive film delivers a powerful message of urgency, hope, and possibility for the future of our oceans. Following the screening, enjoy a virtual Q&A with the film’s producer, Ben Judkins. Light bites and refreshments will be provided!

Get Halloween-ready in Miami sustainably, help clean the beach, and learn about Virginia Key’s unique wildlife and native vegetation on a guided eco walk! Join Debris Free Oceans, MORAES, & Earth Breeze for a spook-tacular afternoon at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park. 🎃 This event is free to attend and open to all ages. Volunteer service hours will be provided.

If we decide to postpone the event due to weather concerns, rest assured that we will notify you promptly. Your tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date. However, if you find yourself unable to attend on the new date, we will be more than happy to process a refund for your ticket.

We understand that plans can change, and sometimes unforeseen circumstances arise. We kindly request a 24-hour notice for cancellations of paid events if you wish to receive a ticket refund.
