What is The World Pup?

The World Pup is a World Cup-themed celebration of dogs, culture, and our shared responsibility to protect Biscayne Bay.

As Miami gears up to host the world’s largest fútbol competition from June 11 to July 19, the World Pup brings fans together at Haulover Park for a morning of friendly competition and good energy. Expect dogs repping World Cup teams and plenty of golazo moments. 🇫🇷🇪🇸🇦🇷🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇵🇹

From adoptable pups ready to find their fur-ever homes to playful activations, this is the event for soccer fans and dog lovers alike.

Whether you’re bringing your own pup, scouting your future best friend, or just here for the vibes, the World Pup is a paw-some pregame to the World Cup 2026 in Miami.

How do I register?

Admission is free, but registration is encouraged so we can plan for all our furry friends and their humans!

Be sure to check in at the Welcome Tent to receive your complimentary poop bag holder and for the chance to enter your dog in the World Pup match!

What do I need to know if I'm bringing my dog?

We’re excited to meet your dog at the World Pup! Well-behaved dogs of all breeds and sizes are welcome.

To keep the day safe and fun for everyone:

Dogs must be remain on a non-retractable leash (max 6′) at all times.
Dogs must be up to date on their rabies, DHLP, PARVO, and BORDATELLA vaccinations. Animal Services-issued license tags are required.
Aggressive or disruptive dogs may be asked to leave for the safety and comfort of all attendees.
Bring a water bowl to keep your pup hydrated. Water refill stations will be available.
Ensure your dog is comfortable around other dogs, people, and loud noises.
Pack anything your dog needs to stay comfortable such as food, treats, medication, or cooling items.

What if I don't have a dog?

All dog lovers are welcome, whether you’re bringing your pup, leaving yours at home, or just love being around dogs! If you’re ready to meet your new best friend, Miami-Dade Animal Services will have adorable adoptable dogs onsite through their Mobile Adoption Unit. You will also have the opportunity to learn more about their Pawventures Foster Fieldtrips where you can take a shelter dog out on a doggie date for a day!

Will there be food and drinks?

Yes! Local food trucks will have snacks, meals, and refreshments available for purchase. Be sure to bring your reusable water bottle! There will be water refill stations around the event.

Also, we encourage you to bring your own cup, to help minimize waste!

What should I bring?

We encourage you to bring:

A reusable water bottle (water refill stations will be available)
Sun protection
A reusable cup

If you’re bringing a dog with you, we recommend bringing:

A water bowl
A non-retractable leash (max 6′)*
Poop bags*
Animal Services-issued license tag*
Food and/or snacks
Toys and/or treats
Cooling items
Medicine (if needed)
Anything else your dog needs to be comfortable!

Is the event accessible?
