Join Debris Free Oceans for an exciting Zero Waste Workshop with the Florida Green Schools Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA).
This PTSA Zero Waste Workshop is designed to equip parents, educators, students, and community members with practical tools to significantly reduce single-use plastics and food waste in school cafeterias and classrooms. Through a combination of presentations and interactive activities, participants will gain a deeper understanding of waste reduction strategies, such as food share tables, composting programs, and reusable service ware.
Lunch will be provided for all attendees.
As an added incentive, one participating school will win a 30-piece stainless steel party kit valued at over $500. This reusable kit is designed to help schools immediately reduce reliance on disposable serviceware for classroom celebrations.
