75 people educated about nutrient pollution in Biscayne Bay and how to be a sustainable pet parent

& special appearances from Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelbor, Chief Resilience Officer Sonia Brubaker, and Florida Sea Grant Extension Agent for Miami-Dade County Ana Zangroniz

Thank you so much for coming out to our event with City of Miami Beach despite the rain! We had an amazing time meeting all your pups in their cute outfits.

We kicked off the event with a series of short speeches about nutrient pollution, keeping Biscayne Bay healthy, and what we can do as community members and dog parents to ensure we are keeping our waterways clean.

After speeches, attendees enjoyed free puptails (21+) and live music, as well as a variety of activations including puppies for adoption from Animal Lover’s Rescue.
