66 pieces of marine debris removed from Florida’s Coral Reef

& 110 coral colonies outplanted onto the reef!

Thank you to all of the volunteers who came out to our women-led scuba cleanup and coral restoration expedition, led by the women of Debris Free Oceans and Rescue a Reef!

We outplanted 110 corals (species included Acropora cervicornis, Siderastrea siderea, Stephanoecinia intersepta, Montastrea cavernosa, Orbicella faveolata, Orbicella annularis, and Porites astreoides) and removed 66 items/11 lbs of marine debris from the reef – You can check out our marine debris data at this link.
