Thank you to the 100+ yogis and friends who came out for this incredible yoga + urban cleanup event! What a way to pay homage to Mama Earth! We started the afternoon with a grounding flow on the Club Space terrace, then took to the streets of Downtown Miami for a street cleanup. We picked up loads of street debris, from tire scraps to plastic bottles and WAY too many plastic straws…and, before we knew it, we’d surpassed 400 lbs in just over 40 minutes time!
Urban cleanups are uber important because our trash inevitably makes its way from the streets to storm drains and rivers that flow into our beloved Biscayne Bay and ocean.
After the cleanup, we made our way back to Space for a #partywithapurpose! Coyo Taco treated us to yummy bites and Bekko Box made sure we didn’t need to throw away any takeout containers because they brought their REUSABLE TAKEAWAY CONTAINERS for us all to use (and reuse)!
Iris Tattoo was also a highlight! Their amazing team pierced many of our ears and proceeds will go to funding our community programs + educational events!
